There is the appearance of a large hole in the South Polar Cap between 150° & 300° longitude.

Description

With many image of Mars in July 2018, we were able to make a polar projection of most of the southern hemisphere when the temporary South Polar Cap was still large.

Notes:

  • There is a bright cloud or opening in the dust storm at about 30° longitude.
  • There is the appearance of a large hole in the SPC between 150° & 300° longitude.
